KLM-12 Series SF₆ Fully Insulated Gas-Insulated Ring Main Unit (RMU)
The KLM-12 series SF₆ fully insulated gas-insulated ring main unit (hereinafter referred to as RMU) is a new generation 12kV gas-insulated RMU independently developed by introducing advanced technical concepts and leading manufacturing processes.
The product features compact size, maintenance-free operation, simple handling, high safety and reliability, and excellent performance. It is especially suitable for urban power grid renovation, industrial substations, load centers, high-rise buildings, outdoor switching stations, and pad-mounted substations.

Advantages & Features
All primary high-voltage live components are fully sealed in a stainless steel gas tank welded from stainless steel plates. The entire switchgear is unaffected by external environmental conditions, ensuring operational reliability, personnel safety, and maintenance-free performance.
The extension busbar is fully insulated and shielded, ensuring high reliability and safety.
The load switch–fuse combination unit has a transfer current up to 12kV, 1400A.
Compact structure, suitable for installation in space-limited areas. The gas tank is made of 3 mm thick 304 stainless steel and welded using advanced 3D five-axis laser welding technology, ensuring superior welding quality, excellent airtightness, and an attractive appearance.
Simple and effective interlocking system prevents misoperation.
Factory-integrated automation solutions are available to enable intelligent switchgear functionality.
Fully automatic helium leak detection equipment ensures a gas leakage rate of less than 0.01% per year, with a service life exceeding 30 years.
Reliable operating mechanism: the mechanical life of the load switch reaches up to 2,000 operations, while the vacuum circuit breaker reaches up to 5,000 operations.
Fully automated assembly line ensures product consistency and high quality.
